FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How are consumer group members selected?
Consumer group members are chosen based on their passion for travel, attention to detail, willingness to share thoughtful feedback, and different vantage points. We welcome diverse perspectives and look for applicants who reflect our customers’ real organisational needs.
What is the product testing process like?
Our product development is very thoughtful and deeply iterative—we conduct as many fabric design rounds as needed to get to a fabric that look great and performs as needed. For the product design, we typically go through at least three rounds of prototyping. As a consumer group member, you’ll receive product samples, use them in real-life situations, and then share your honest insights to iterate the product until we've created something we collectively love.
What's in it for me?
- Insider access to shape the product that you would love to travel with.
- Be the first to get that vetted and perfected product - but in your case, at not cost. It's simply a thank you from us for your insights and time.
- Experience a full product development cycle (spoiler alert: lots of design specifications; real life product testing; laughs; and the smug satisfaction of seeing your feedback shape the design!)
- Meet great people who share your interests.
You’re not just test-driving, you’re co-creating from concept to kit!
What if I can't make all of the sessions?
We ask members to commit to the full product testing process for each round they’re selected for wherever possible. Much of that testing is done at your own pace, like looking over specifications in survey answer format; and putting prototypes through their paces. For virtual and any face-to-face meet-ups, just let us know as early as possible if you think you won't be able to make it. We'll do our best to accommodate as consistent participation benefits the whole group and helps us create products that thoroughly support people just like you.
